Thank you Lecter for your unprejudiced und qualified opinion here, i don´t remember the last time that someone was banned by me AND came here to ask why.
It was in the final moments of the map, an allied Aircraft carrier was the last remaining objective.
I was on aa gun next to the plane spawn and noticed the minewarning-sign of mines from own team. Through the deck i could see the names of 2 allies, one of them was Corky Tatcher (or something very similar).
So far so good, after beeing distracted for a few seconds (probably shooting axis plane), i saw at least one (2 if i remeber right) axis landmine kills by Corky Tatcher. I took a look in the playerlist and found him in axis team (he was dead). Then i took a look into console and found the infomation that he switched axis team.
I consider this manipulative behaviour as a kind of cheating and banned him for a month.

You're right Frank, this is what i did before i fell of the damn carrier and mined that plane.. Hoping to take out some dick who was constantly with his ass in a JU88 at Axis airfield camping the shit out of us.. I Unfortunately failed in that mission though.. Also not knowing this would give me a one month ban.  I was just alittle fed up with that, thats all..

But dont worry, i will do this punishment without begging for any appeal or what so ever!

Tedje is a 10 year veteran or more of this game. We played thousands, yes thousands of hours together in nateos server. Never ever he had a problem in that server or elsewhere, never a ban, ofc in simple its a one month ban. Amazed it was not a perm ban. 

I understand why you choose to do what you did, not contesting it, one month is too harsh, and surely not personal to you, but the double standards for decisions in this server are unbelievable. Will all the hackers, disruptors being given the red carpet treatment to come back to the server after a mild ban. If so.

Let me get this straight, from now on teamstacking is always  worth a one-month ban , end of story?

Or did i miss other rule violations hidden in admins response?

And yes, Tedje is my friend so im biased but come on, a month...

From now on I consider myself as a victim of this current admin regime... I also see some paralells with the Erdogan regime, im sorry to say that!

So let the central admin committee decide on how to prolong my sentence...

Oh sorry i didn´t know that he is a decade veteran of this game, in order to NOT have double standards, this shouldn´t make any difference. At least he is not admin and i didn´t know omg, right Alvarez? I´m not happy myself if proven cheaters get unbanned or find a way to evade a ban, for cheaters there shouldn´t be a second chance. Is it now my fault that others, however, are treated way too soft?
@Maasika: Just to make sure you got it: Putting mines on the planes of the own team and then teamswitch to get free kills is not (just) teamstacking, it´s a subtile form of purpose teamkilling or cheating (whatever perspective you like).
In cases like this there is allways room for discussion what time is appropriate but in the first place i consider the player a troll that does things like that all day if he can. When he came to forum, he was smart enought not to claim he did nothing wrong, however people like Lecter, Maasika and Alvarez-Latino behave as if, trying to play good cop bad cop with me.
Next time i kick or ban someone and he comes here, i should ask what he thinks why he was banned, then i wanna read it from himself or his lies to cover them up later.

Yes understand that. Maybe ask an admin if he could do something, exessive camping/spamming could be seen as disruptive gameplay i guess, the game is meant to be fun after all.

OK so if u saw it happen and it was done on purpose i admit , its  ban-worth behaviour and i apologise for questioning your judgement.

But neither teamkilling nor -stacking is cheating and that part of your answer seems a tad self-righteous considering that you were part of debate about pixeling not a long time ago.

Anyway, everyone have  an opinion  an mine is that Tedje`s sentence was too long but it aint my call, its admin decision and so be it.

Frank, when I replied I had no idea it was you who banned him. I thought it was Duke or someone else new. So like I said its not personal to you for sure and surely not attacking you. Just too harsh a ban even considering the facts.

@bud: It was Battle of Brittain, the baseattack/camping rule is not applied there.
@Maasika: As far as i understand, teamstacking is if you just switch to a team (maybe not at the beginning) that has allready more players or gets significant more then (small total numbers), if you combine it with prepairing a (massive) tk before, it gets something else (buguse) that comes pretty close to cheating. Lets say this is my opinion.
There have been a few pixeling debates, every x time I use an artillery as it is really ment to be used (with at least one initial spot for a target out of sight, own or from others). I have seen max one halfway serious (and allready disruptive) try to prove pixeling at the very beginning of my repairpad artillery tactic, there has been nothing but hot air, shameless accusations, disrupting and abusing admins. Don´t come with BS, just like Donald Trump said something that is not allready proven.
@Alvarez-Latino: Maybe he would have better chances to get his ban shortened if his friends wouldn´t try to "help" him. Playing the sherif? No i like to play the game with as few interruptions as possible but if i see something, i don´t use the admin rights only for me or my friends. what did you do/do you do?
@Lecter: Not that I suspect you would do it deliberately but I bet if you wouldn´t know him, you would ban him too. If you believe me that, what do you think how long?

@Frank, you are right, I would probably ban him but for 1 day or 1 week max. I rarely use 1 month ban just because I never remember the 1 month ban possibility

Today I saw players getting a week for less bad things, however I hoped to read an opinion about an apropriate ban lenght from someone who does not know Tedje.
I´ll ask nämeless to shorten the ban at his own discretion, if he is also a friend of Tedje, he may be lucky.
Of course I expect Tedje not to do something like that again, maybe he just forgot to say that he won´t.

Regulars should know the rules,and therefore can expect a harder ban than a newbie.
And it´s like some people like to find how far they can go before getting banned.
I am speaking in general,not specific about Tedje.
Some regulars can´t play a week without being banned. Wonder how they will feel
with a loooooong ban or even a permanent.

All considered i think 2 weeks could be an okey compromize. Tempers flares and dumb shit happens, but also consider this as a warning to not do things like that again.

You know, shit happends. It's called AutoswitchTeamKill.

The mines stay when you die.  And when you got autoswitched it can give Teamkills.

Same can happen also if you killed someone by grenade and died/autoswitched a bit earlier then the nade exploded.

You can see it easy, if's intentionally disrupting. The manually suiciding/switching people after deploying mines deserves some reflecting time.

@Arkos: Pls read again, this is NOT about attacking the enemy and get teamswitched. => rated by the server as teamkill.
This is about attacking the own team and switch to the other. => rated by the server as normal kill.
