Well in my opinion, Philippines is not a bad map, only we have to mod it a little to be not so "allied" map.

Problem: japs spawn on the ship but if they don't move it away, it is easy to sink. So the japs can soon lost their spawnpoint in the begining of the map.

Idea: put one of the 2 ships to the west side of the map, maybe change it to carrier and add one or 2 paratrooper spawns in the middle of the islands. I know it is not realistic: jap paras, but maybe a little bit harder for the us marines to take controll all of the points.
