Can join just a few servers

Hello everyone,

A few months ago I reintalled my bf1942. I just updated to last last version(v1.61b), but I was only able to connect to a very few servers. Also I've installed DCfinal and I'm not able to connect to any server.

Now I'm asking here how that comes, because your server gives a good ping, but turns gray in the list? Can you guys help me?

BTW, I played some times on the BiHnet server because it was the only one I could connect to, but this one also turned grey

Oh, btw. I have an original copy of the game. And next to that, does it matter which box I check at the bottom right for internet connection? I get a lot more server when I check the 1M

you have version 1.6 (bottom left corner), you should have 1.61

Ok, so I tried to install 1.61b again. But I get this error ( as far as I can remember I got this error a few months ago too) so I thought it was installed already.

uninstall it all (including dc) and install again
skip dc for now

or try downloading patch switcher from anykey, its easier

Hey guys it's worked out, thanks for the replies!

First I tried the patch switcher, but that fucked it all up haha. After that I had had alot troubles uninstalling it. Then I used a cracked patch of v1.61b and I just played on your server

Glad you made it. Always check your BF1942 version in the lower left corner in the game menu.
