A new forum section

Would be nice to create a new forum section and make it read-only for downloads and instructions where users can find a game client (for newbies), patches (for example, widescreen patch) etc.

As far as I understand, this forum has no relation to BF-League. It's like you can advise to search it via Google.

also would be great to create on this forum kind a "non english" section, where any language men could ask anything on any language and get an answer if he is are lucky..
or make a branch for  every main languages, maybe it will expand the range of forum-user players...
russian-language ppl become more its for true!

what about russian forum section, where they could ask and probably nameless and joint answer ?
but there arent much russian people on our forum, but this would be easier for them cause plenty cant read english

Created a new forum section for other languages.
You are correct, nameless. It's a good idea to create a page for downloads, instructions and tips for new BF1942 players. I didn't have time to do it, yet.

You are correct, nameless. It's a good idea to create a page for downloads, instructions and tips for new BF1942 players. I didn't have time to do it, yet.

Just ask users to provide the content. For example, I can share widescreen patch for Battlefield 1942. Everybody knows that this game doesn't support 1920x1080 by default and in low resolution without any patch it looks weird on my 27" widescreen display. Be sure, the others can upload a game client, punkbuster, maps etc.

I also have the widescreen patch. If you or anyone else want to create a webpage which can help new players, I'll host it here. It just needs to be a simple webpage with some few pictures and text. I once gathered all tutorials links for BF1942 and decided to make a new updated one, but as usual, I didn't start it. I just hate it when I have ideas and then not the time or the will to conclude them. :

I'm at work now and I also have no time. I just would wait for the weekend to begin to get some time but I don't know how to contact you. This forum engine has no personal messages feature.

Hay, Stick with english. Your looking to get in trouble with a dilution of efectiveness, command and control, etc.
