That wasn't so long ago, I remember how we used to get to the enemy airfield and drive our supersonic jeep over everybody there It was extremely funny, as well as kidding pilots just flying over them

It was removed from daily map rotation. El Alamein CTF runs now at random days.

Actually each time ctf is on everyones is having alot of fun. Its a nice map to just chill.

Great solution provided here: skip El Alamein conquest and use El Alamein CTF instead? This way the mainbaserapers still come to SiMPLE server and everyone else is happy too

but is it possible to turn off timer on CTF El Ala and make it first team to get 5 flags for example? 30 min is always so short and maybe that would also encourage some of the better players to go for flags.

Uhm, with the way it is modded like now we wont be able to play a normal map for 5 minutes. Please don't extend the time at some ridiculous CTF map.

Love your ideas of modding maps, but dont make it like some circus.

lol stop exaggerating guys. just played this round and it took 25 minutes for 6 flags (then map switched automatically), with a couple of failed attempts on both sides. i just thought that if the timer would be off you'd have more of a 'ctf feeling' and more people actually trying to win the map for their team.
