Re: USA presidential

Are you an amateur label maker bud?  Peace?  Are you kidding?  Don't worry, when we leave many areas of the world...ciaos will follow and the stooges will move back in....peace....ummm k.

We will be ending the bullshit " war " very soon...we will be pulling OUT of many countries....we will no longer BE the world police.  We have a lot of work to do and never wanted most of this shit anyway. That was the old administrations shit...in a short time...there will be no we....just US.,..the rest of the world should have no problems taking care of themselves. Most importantly make sure you do not even consider running to us when the proverbial shit hits the fan.  Too many countries already take the US for granted...some less than others.  In the end it really does not matter to us what is said or done anywhere else...sooner or later many "users" will be knocking on our door with gifts and lamentations only to be told we don't need them, their ideas, products or suggestions.

It's a new era...believe it.

Re: USA presidential

True...but I can say I never voted for the son-of-a bitch, or any Clinton.  Trump is motivated by the real needs of the country and only ran and won becasue of it. The amount of underhanded bullshit and all out attack on him from the start by the media and majority of the so called "leaders" including the POS obama...did not go unnoticed by the people.  He could be sipping margaritas on a beach with a woman at every limb, but he chose to run and WIN instead...and we are very thankful.

Ironically a billionaire was the clear representative of the majority and the country's best interests.

Foreign wars are over sir,...well for us. The old establishment wanted to take care of everyone....we don't.
We will be withdrawing a huge percentage of our military...while still protecting our interests abroad. Not to say we wont have a monster of a military...becasue we will.
But we will be using those men for other "work" inside the borders on issues that have ripped our country apart from the inside and demolished our infrastructure.  Jobs, manufacturing, money, family..wealth. It's about the the business of our best interests...and business is gonna be a booming.

The jig is up.

They doesnt exactly make it easy for people to vote if i understand it right. here is a crappy google translation.

Those who want to vote in the election must have a fixed address.

Those who wish to vote must register well in advance.

Those who wish to vote must locate a polling station and they are few, queues are taking several hours.

Those who wish to vote must devote several hours a weekday, because the choice is not based at a weekend when most are available.

Those who wish to vote must have time and can afford to forgo half a day's labor.

Those who wish to vote must have an employer who provides a free to exercise their democratic right to elect the president.

The prisoners may not vote at all. It affects petty criminals, drug dealers and rapists, as well as political prisoners Chelsea Manning.

It's quite easy.

You don't need a fixed address. Homeless people, those who live in vehicles, etc., can vote. They just have to put a place where they usually are, such as a park, a parking lot, a shelter, whatever.

You can register at the polls on election day. You can register well in advance in person, by mail, or even online. You can also register at the DMV and when you get a drivers license/state ID there.

There are plenty of polling centers. Also, if you can't get there, you can contact one of the parties in your area or the polling center and they will literally pick you up and take you there. Sometimes queues are long.

Polls are open early in morning to night. Most people can go before work or after they get off. Many businesses also allow people to take time off work to go vote without docking their pay.

True, felons in prison cannot vote (in most states). However, people in jail who have not committed a felony can still vote (absentee).

The "developed immunity against media BS" you mention is part of it. People are completely sick of the political correctness nonsense that goes on with everything and the way media pushes it.

Those who are blue-collar "working class" people who were always viewed as democrats, left that party, by huge numbers to vote for Trump. It's amazing that basic everyday workers who make a modest living relate themselves to Trump. Democrats used to always call that group "working-class voters." The media, seeing that their favorite political party was losing the working-class now seems to only refer to them as "uneducated workers." You know... construction workers, truckers, miners, firemen, janitors, etc. I think these people were sick of being taking advantage of by that party. They're tired of being looked at as dumb and have their family values and social views considered nonsense by the media.

Re: USA presidential

This vote was more against the establishment than it was for Trump. When people start to realize that Trump is also part of the establishment, they will abandon him. Now is the honeymoon phase but man I can't wait for the point when people realize that he hasn't kept his promises, that he is in fact a politician and that he is in fact part of the elite.

Why would that help them? it's a common fact that the US system is obsolete and needs change. Additionally  usa is pretty darn big so maybe the situation is different in other states compared to sunshines. You jump to conclusion way to fast here . . . again.

I make an adjustment in weight% based on a complicated formula only existing in my head. Suns word carry a lot weight on my scale, but of course no one can give a 100% accurate overall picture.

And also i think that if you are so wise, then start proving it instead of just making smart comments.

Funny. You were the one making baseless assumptions and now I have to come up with proofs?
So what should I prove? That a system someone made up 240 years ago isn't suited for modern times?  That sunshine s experience in Michigan is different to someone in Florida or California?
That's common sense. Maybe you should give it a try?;)

Re: USA presidential

My experience is based on my experiences voting in Florida AND Michigan (MI had state elections when i was 18). 2 VERY different states in terms of the people, politics, etc.

True, from what i understand there are slight differences in each state, but there are certain voting laws that keep things in order and help everyone who is allowed to vote.

Bud, there has been a push by some media to say how one party is trying to make voting more difficult, like requiring a drivers license/state ID. They claim it's harder for minority voters to get one, which in itself sounds racist to assume that. They can get one for free ffs and even get one by mail or get a voting card from city hall or whatever. Lets be real... the only reaaon why they dont want an ID to be required is so they can have illegal immigrants vote.
