SiMPLE Tanks A Lot...

Could there be any consideration for adding one more map to Tanks A Lot? I think Bulge would be a good addition in rotation with the desert map.

Additionally, there are some occasional player issues there that could use some admin assistance as Mamba's already pointed out. If anyone is interested in specifics, I'll gladly explain further in a private message.

Simon - Huh? Who are you and what's the problem? lol

Arkos - I think it's gotta be vanilla, no one is gonna take time to DL a custom map. It would be cool to use the alternative flag on Bulge, eliminate the river flag, and to replace the APCs and Jeep with tanks also.

Sorry bud, I must have misread your post under the report abuse thread. I thought you were saying the server needed more admin and that there was some horseplay happening occasionally. Sorry for my confusion!

Easy... Write the adress at Aberdeen-Map: "Download DuklaPass at > http://team-simple.org/downloads"

(Because of this i loved "Wolfenstein Enemy Territory" too. All Maps and mods dl automaticly, when you entered a Server.)

We really just need to add Bulge, take out the APC and jeep to swap with tanks or just put it on as is and see how it plays.

Finally one who understand Dukla Pass is a great Tank Map

And it's for sure not difficult to target people to the downloadsection. If only grey is possible, write it bigger.

good question :d rarely does that map reach 16 players which is the least acceptable for a proper aberdeen match.

With Dukla Pass for sure, so some pros would play more often Dukla at night too, Mostly when i flyby Tanks a lot, only 3-6 players are playing.

SiMPLE tanks usually has 15+ players around 6-8 PM CET. Currently there is 16/25 @ 6:28 pm cet. It has a pretty consistent dedicated populous. Always notice the same people playing there. IMO custom maps would destroy some of that population, keep it vanilla for now.

Custom Maps would definitely be a bad route to take because the only people to play those maps would be people who frequently go on forums. The average player/new players won't know where to get maps even if you displayed it in grey server text because nobody pays attention to that. Id say stick with aberdeen only as Scorpion said bulge would end up with infantry scattered and that's already annoying with aberdeen.

Start small with Bulge - already a tank map! Possibly take out the jeep & APC and add tanks instead.
It's vanilla and EVERYONE can load it without any effort at all. You just show up and play.
If people respond to that, then you branch out or make changes accordingly.

Don't bother, it was tried out on EA10 with a tank map rotation and regulars complained. As for who Simon is, that's a good question. I'll answer it with a cheating little hacker kid from Estonia that no admin dares do anything about because him and his brother attack the server if they are ever punished. I have another suggestion. A Simple Tanks a Lot dedicated Aberdeen server with two player slots for 1vs1.
