Why did LadyYuna got banned?

Hi,

Two days ago I finally played bf1942 after yeaaars again. The game crashed for the 2nd time during a map switch (still trying to fix the problem).

Anyways, today I was trying to connect ... "Banned from server". WHY?!

crashing during map change seems to be a common problem and be patient admin will check logs to see why ban

Haha, got it. Thnx! The thing is .. I have the original bf1942 (read: also SW, RtR, Vietnam, bf2 AND bf3. So no worries, I don't mind paying 2 bucks for this game). However, I did lost the instruction book with the key. I know it's somewhere.. But I was just too eager to play and too lazy to search, so I googled one lol. Would it help if I would install SW and/or RtR? Or should I just buy another original version? ^^

If you want to install Secret Weapons and Road to Rome, you'll need keys too. I like Road to Rome and Secret Weapons expansion packs, it has some cool maps.

I know, I have the keys of the expansion packs since I bought all my battlefield games. No worries, i'm only missing the key of the original bf1942.

My question is, if I will install the expansion packs, will I then automatically be unbanned (since the keys will change)? Or should I deinstall the base game and then reinstall with a new (non-pirated) key?

The expansion pack cd-keys have nothing to do with your ban. If they are valid, they will allow you to install the expansion packs and play in any BF1942 server running Road to Rome or Secret Weapons maps.
You don't need to reinstall the game again to use a new cd-key. You can change to your valid CD-key, by running Battlefield 1942_Code.exe in Battlefield 1942eReg directory. I've sent you some days ago an email to the address you registered in this forum, explaining your problem. didn't you read it?

Aaaaaanddd I got banned again. What's the reason this time? I received the message "CD key invalid" or "Key already in use" or something similar. The next day I got banned, lol. :<
