You certainly have a point, Paul Baumer.
And i hope you to honestly answer me and the rest of the drunks on the park bench, 'cause they all are burning for it,
one single question -
Is it possible to manipulate your hit registration rate and thus improve it in order to have an advantage over the majority of other players?
Thank you for being responsible and upright with your answer.
What the heck ?
That's most certainly not what SiMPLE | Battlefield 1942 needs -
another competetive cs super reg modder w/out proof as an additional admin.
:drop mic:
Well, Karwsz, i would love to see it as advertising poster.
But the community seems to be a little too inert for any arranged and dated events.
Anyway, the depicted scene shows a random public occurance.

Blindschatz
Well, Omaha Beach focusses infantry and artillery.
The armor should be considered bonus.
And for my taste a Sherman and a Pz IV would suit the map better than the heavies.
It's a thin red line - adapting gameplay to mods or adapting mods to gameplay.
blue team never gets middle
Yes, a well-populated game will have a certain percentage of bots.
And the map favours the defenders, hence without at least a tiny bit of teamplay
the Allied hardly have a chance to advance.
In a 50+ round it is mere luck that the key positions have no trashy players on it.
So yeah - let's give it a try and reduce the number of explosives.
For engineers make it 1 disc and 1 cake. The others get 1 grenade.
Also a bit crazy idea but - replace small ship with not moving PoW
Too crazy. Imagine the damage. And the crew will be kicked for minus in no time.
Also as an experiment, we can try to cancel the apc spawn points for both sides (axis and allied) when middle is lost by axis. That way more infantry combat will occur over trying to slowly gain control over the top territories.
Thin red line, **PN** Flyboi. Here's the thing: have the APCs spawning as used to be,
the current setting is like 3 minutes or so.
The Hanomag shall not feature the troop spawning from the beginning. Make this ability dependant from the flags.
While the Allied truck serves as mobile spawner all the time, the Axis one has it's ability bound to mid flag.
As soon as the mid flag turns grey the Axis team shall have reinforcements,
once Axis has taken back mid flag the Hanomag turns into a standard vehicle again.
Alright, here's an impression of a thrilling round.
VliegjesGehakt (he's among the top 5 APC commanders) managed to slip through.
At this point the battle was raging half an hour already.
How's the outcome you guess?
one and a half minutes later

Please remove the server clock showing up in grey text.
I join SiMPLE to relax and forget, not to be reminded every few minutes of how f*cken late/early it already is.
And many other players cannot even do anything with CET.
Thanks.
For example:
BFSoldier_1 with scores -4 0 1 gets kicked
BFSoldier_2 with scores 2 8 1 doesn't get kicked
BFSoldier_3 with scores 0 8 1 gets kicked
Yeah, i like that.
In addition, bring back !ftk and !ptk and train the bots to use it.
1. Which hangars? Allied or axis? They were already deathtraps as far as I remember. You couldn't stay near them. How far is the new range?
2. You can always refill ammo near an ammobox, I really think this one it has absolutely no value for the game.
1. All hangars, the death bubble ends a few steps away from them.
2. There' no ammo crates near the four coastal Radar Towers.
A skilled/lucky bailer can gain up to 4 expacks per killed defending Engineer,
this could definately influence the game.
Very often i play as AA operator, preferably stationed at Clacton Tower,
a no-chute-mod could make me a few more kills, that's certain.
By the way, the rifle (at least the British) does way more damage than in other maps,
not sure if accuracy is altered aswell. In any case, rifling on the British coast makes me feel like a young god. Silly tuia.
Well, at one hand i would welcome a no-chute-mod, but i do respect many non-fly boys on the other.
more people in aa's and mg's
I remember playing Britain in 2003, Axis bombers were fully manned,
and the Brits had a bunch of wrenches around the objectives.
Well, experimenting with a no-chute-mod on Britain would require auto-balance off to sort out teams...
Ah, did i already mention?
For the BF42 god's sake, i demand to have these pathetic splat bailers punished with -3.

No Sunny, i don't.
I do indeed have a lovely collection of wall decor, all my photos, of my dogs and flowers, landscape, nature and such.
But all the military stuff gets switched off along with the computer, you know.
Yes, ABAS,
i have certain expectations for myself, and the least i wanna do is creating some challenge even for skilled veterans.
Being APC commander in World War II must have been a tough job.
In Battlefield 1942 it's more like: the boys and me on a trip -
You, sir, deserve a place in the hall of fame of Battlefield 1942.
I salute you.
This impostrish chap on <12> is simply not true.
He has the wrong ping.
And only Maj.MerliN himself can be his fan #1.
These days many honourable members of our great Battlefield 1942 community have one feeling in common.
They miss Maj.MerliN.
Well, i'm pretty sure he will be back soon. Nevertheless i want to take you back in time again.
Here, this one shows other ancestry of our today's comrades.

Alright folks and fellas.
Sometimes i watch BF-TV with you as the actors, live and real.
Every now and then i take a picture.
Here's one depicting a tactical situation, a scene that happened a few months ago,
Summer 2024, a good game with 50 people.

[E5] American Outpost
The counter attack to take back the bridgehead at [E5] utterly failed,
Sgt Blindschuetz as the last survivor is low on health and out of landmines.
Western flank is split wide open.
Defence of the base is light but seems sufficient.
The tank attack on the Eastern flank towards [G4] looks promising.
No worries about St. Vith at this point, that position is zookers in the ruins.
Note to the APC enthusiast: the Allied M3A1 does respawn within 8 minutes, the Axis Hanomag has 6 to 7 minutes.
Note to the teamplayer: the guy at the sawmill should serve as scout, not silly sniper.
It only takes 2 clicks for a decent reconnaissance dude to give his team a huge advantage.
Artillery is pretty underrated, it just needs two players.
gg
Zincha was unable to obtain the licence.
Moral failure due to the pressure, poor him.

Sorry, we don't offer the desired item.
But feel free to take a look at the other toys:
Yes Ma'am, he's right.
Make it a fresh and new install, like you paint your fingernails every once in a while.
Listen please, TUPUDUKU.
Some people own their stuff, others share their stuff. Which person are you?
I mean, i been watching you operating the APC for a few maps now and have to say,
you really doing a good job there. Honestly, i thought there's a new fellow APC crewmember.
But there's an important lesson you must learn.
Do not take vehicles away from other team members.
Ne prenez pas les véhicules des autres membres de l'équipe.
Dude, seriously, shouldn't one have learned that back in the days of kid playing in sandbox?
My stuff - your stuff. Keep it or share it, man.
Ok, SiMPLE:
- you enter a vehicle and you are (1) then the vehicle is yours.
- when you have to bail out for repairs or change to (2) for defence or surveillance, the vehicle is still considered yours.
You are tank commander. You step out of your armor to tighten the tracks or paint the exhaust pipes,
and some random guy jumps in and simply drives off then you may forget your manners and think of, pardon,
the behaviour of a thieving b@st€Rd stable boi.
Yes, you're absolutely right, it's a game. And a game has rules.
Please show yourself reasonable and sensibly, we even could be good partners,
the APCs can't be operated by one man alone anyway, it's a team vehicle.
You may please keep your eyes open for players like Xberg, Pope, his holyness the, Elon Musk and a few more
for good APC tag team partners.
Alright, here's how it works:
The vehicle owner finds (1) occupied by another player.
The vehicle owner does F6 F7, F6 F7
If the other player does not listen the vehicle owner can call an admin.
The responding admin will type !kill # and the other player will die within a second,
and the vehicle owner has his tank, artillery, jeep, etc back.
