This especially might help people who are running the game at 144hz (or higher) Monitors. Others might not even notice problems. Depends on hardware, os, driver etc. also ...
My game settings btw. are:
renderer.lockfps 500 (VideoDefault.con)
game.setGameDisplayMode 1920 1080 32 144 (VideoCustom.con)
Did you check if PB screens work with that fix?

Hey there. I run BF on Windows 10 and i had ingame fpslag/stuttering problems with my game for a while now. The game just did not run smooth. I used this workaround which worked for me for a while but stopped with another windows update i guess...: https://team-simple.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=8562&p=1
Its quite tricky to install because u have to change the .dll in Windows/System... Not the best solution.
BF1942 is running on D3D8 which causes some problems with Windows 10 because its totally outdated maybe.
I did some research an found this:

"This is a pseudo-driver module that intends to improve compatibility and stability in games using Direct3D 8 for rendering by converting all API calls and low-level shaders to equivalent Direct3D 9 ones. ..."
I tested this .dll for a while now and it works perfectly for me. The game runs really smooth now. You just have to download the file (.dll only) and put it into your gamedir:

It's supposed to work like this for every old game based an D3D8.

Dude.. i saw u haxing a million times. Multihax, Zook etc.. I asked e.s. ingame if u arent banned on this server. He said u are and banned you. Thats it! I didnt say u were haxing today tho... nothing suspicious, but u have a looong history.

Drago's IP is static, he's using the same IP-address on the forum. I have just checked it out. It's really very disappointing that I have played a lot with someone who's using maphack. The only thing I still don't get is how he's hacking the plane's physics to get extra manoeuvrability and extra climb rate.

We'll... does ÐràGó have a fixed IP ? At least in germany thats quite rare for ISPs. On the other hand... it would be a quite strange / unlucky coincidence ÐràGó gets the same ip this guy had. Not impossible tho (must be same ISP / IP range / etc.). Guess we have to wait for his statement!

Yeah, map selection sucked! Made sense tho since we had way better Pilots back then, but didnt make a tactic at all. We were too sure about winning... and well... we failed

Someone (i think it was mccranck) reported to me on TS u took jeep to plane. I wrote it ingame then.
@HoOk: i was in the other M10 at that time. so shut up plz!
2.) @joint issue #1: he was bailing over our base from intact plane to kill me with colt. (he failed btw.). he is not allowed in our base. period.
3.) @joint issue #2: he moved apc between 2 walls on caen. we were about to lose flag close by. nobody was able to get out of the apc as it was stuck between walls. he didnt move it at all.
4.) @otto issue: no comment needed imho, he stole tank, i warned him not to do it. he did. i asked for kick. whats the deal?

Cmon Lecter. Its was far more ppl complaing than agreeing. I watched this behaviour quite a few times be different admins. Restarting their favorite maps (w/o askin ppl at all). Imho thats admin abuse.
And about mods: I agree some mods make sense on a 64 ppl server. But some mods seem to change almost daily...

Its getting worse every day. How about a week with umodded maps!?! Wonder how many noobs will cry "WTF ?! Where is the B17" on aberdeen or sth like that oO
Stalin with Zooks and Knifes only?! Wtf! And Lecter is even restarting this bullshit after allies lost too quickly. Even with 25+ Player complaining..... Hooray!
