I got banned for attacking/sniping enemies that were inside the protected allied main base.
In my defense, I was shooting from (within resupply range of) the ammo box inside the house at the bridge flag. Sight of the allied base is blocked by a hill on the other side of the river. So shooting at the area of the protected base from where I was sniping is physically impossible.
As far as I know, all targets I shot were either outside of the protected base, or active by having shot at me or my teammates. And even when they were active, they would only be visible from where I was if they had already left the base.
I was told by the admin who banned me, that he had recorded video evidence of my sniping the allied base. I would like to see it, so that I can see things through his eyes and maybe understand why he did this.

Oh, and one thing I forgot to mention: The admin did not warn me before saying he was going to ban me and banned me. I do not know whether this is something an admin is supposed to do before doing something as drastic as banning, but had the admin warned me I was - in his view - base-attacking, I would have stopped shooting the bridge approach regardless of agreeing with them.
He started by accusing me of being a cheater/hacker. Later that round he switched teams, manned the flakpzr at the dome bunker and shot me down multiple times. I started recording the moment I noticed he had switched teams and was still throwing accusations of hacking at me.
I was expecting him to react in a way like he did, mainly because I remembered people reacting similairly in the past.
Later in the video, you can see he admitted to teamkilling me with intent. (Only the first minutes are relevant, I forgot to cut out everything past the point where he left.)

I am getting tired of hearing him baselessly accusing me, and then not take it to the forum or admins where such things can be settled, but instead taking matters into their own hands.
As this is the first time I have taken the effort to report this about him, and because I haven't found anyone else reporting about him...
What I think is an appropriate response to his actions, is a formal warning that his actions were against the server rules, and that if he breaks the rules again, an admin will sanction him in a way that admin thinks is appropriate.
(Simply put, I want an admin to warn him for his actions. That's all.)

Firstly Bock, I think I may have accidentally upset you, and for that I am sorry. I do understand that I can sometimes get on other people's nerves, but that is mostly me just trying to be playful and just joking around with no intention of hurting other peoples feelings. BF1942 is a game afterall, and games are meant for fun. So please, be at ease.
Secondly, I am still convinced that I did not do anything wrong. Yet I understand the complexity of the situation. Kicking me may not have been the right thing to do, but it probably was the lesser of two evils. So for that I am not going to be resentful in any way or form. I am sorry to hear that you needed so much time to translate my previous message, but unfortunately there is not much I can do about that. Please know that I will not avoid you, and I hope you will not avoid me.
Is Bock really admin?
I dont know if its the same guy from half a year ago, but he couldnt withstand my highscores at Caen etc. and called me numerous times hacker and I should take my hacks off...
Yea, Bock has called me a hacker or said I had to disable hacks so many times I can't count them on one hand. (Over 31 times in the last few months for sure.) For sniping with the HO229 from far away on kbely, to shooting him down with the MP40 on cassino. I always thought he was just joking?
Bock is an admin though and he said you baseattacked when you killed him.
I remember he shot down a plane from the AA, killing the pilot right before I killed him with the wasserfal. If possible I'd like to see the killfeed from the moments leading up to the !wbase.

That was a tank (the T95 mentioned driven by Major Bummer) firing in the direction of the island. "is shooting" is what I said to call it out as an active target for air support before I got a chance to shoot it myself. But air support didn't shoot him, so I did. He got angry and said I was baseattacking. I kept saying I was not, as they first made themselves active targets.
It would be really nice to have the feed from before the !wbase too, but I guess next time I should make a screen recording. That way I can show I am not doing anything wrong.
I did not want to fire inside the enemy base, the enemy forced me to do it to stay alive.
If Bock was not killed because he attacked me, then he was targetted because he was in the AA firing at an ally. (The north west AA gun in allied base can directly hit the wasserfall, so anyone firing it forces me to take them out to stay alive, as almost always it is manned to kill the wasserfal.)
The enemy team did lose tanks by me shooting in the base, but that was because they were already manned and shooting at me. (Again, I would've died if I didn't shoot them. I attacked without causing colatteral damage according to the killfeed.)
The enemy also used bazookas to kill me, I had to shoot them as a direct hit would have killed me.
Those are all targets I have shot at and the reasons for shooting them.
Again, Bock was only killed because he was shooting and was a threath to me. I did not have time to shoot enemies that weren't attacking me, as many opponents tried to take me down. (That's also why I had to fire inside enemy main base so much all of a sudden.)
Generally the rule is: baseattack is forbidden unless you fire back when being attacked from main base.So your statements regarding the baseattack rule are correct.
I know you play fair usually, still your attititude is sometimes borderline.I wasn't there but I imagine you only fired back and that's ok unless you did it multiple times to destroy big part of enemy tanks/vehicles.Which would make upset some players and create disbalance in the game, don't think?Plus it really looks like a mess into main base and produces nearly same effect of actual baseattack - if repeated a lot of times.Generally it's better to stay away from main base to avoid these kind of situations.

I completely argree with you that attacking inside the base is to be avoided. I did not want to do it, they kept attacking me from their main base. The wasserfal cannot move away, so the only option is to shoot back, so I did. More people piled on and attacked me from their main base, so I was forced to shoot back to stay alive. I did not kill a single target that was not firing at me or an ally. I am very sure I did not cause any colatteral damage, as wasserfal is pinpoint accurate and killfeed said there was none. I did not destroy any unmanned vehicles/tanks, except those bailed after having shot at me and seeing me making ready to shoot them.
HofNerd you attacked and killed Bock but he didn't attack you. And it seems that this happened more than once. Not only Bock complained about you in this round.
It is true that many complained about me that round, but that was because they think they are immune when firing out of their main base. While the server rules clearly state they aren't. They complained because they believed they were right.
I guess you run the risk of collateral damage when returning fire at hostiles in main base.
Like Paul said, stay away or high and concentrate on supporting or capping those flags.
We had all flags and the allies were base locked. They had nowhere to go. So I just waited and sniped those trying to cross the water with the missile. Then suddenly many opponents started firing at me from their main base.
Today on the map peenemunde I was manning the Wasserfall and got shot at by enemy tanks and AA. They forced me to shoot inside the enemy base. (But only at those who fired at me and would do damage on hit.) I got kicked by admin because of this. (I think it was Rainman who kicked me, or was it Bock?)

"- Attacking the enemy uncapturable main base (basecamping or basebombing) is not allowed. You must not snipe at the main base. You are not allowed to shoot at planes during take-off. All other vehicles must be given the opportunity to leave their base. Nevertheless, it's permitted to air strike at a fireing AA gun or a shooting artillery that's inside the base."
Therefor I think I was not doing anything wrong, I had no option to move away to where I was outside enemy fire. (Wasserfall is stationary) I only shot at enemies who were shooting at me or an ally first. (Having the risk of being 1-shot killed before being allowed to return fire.) This is all completely in line with the server rules, yet I stil got kicked for base attacking. I think some of the server admins need to know the rules they have to enforce better.
