Not sure if all drivers are installed. i believe so, I've checked the important ones.
refresh rates has been at 1 the entire time even before I started changing files. Just deleted custom profile folder still saying invalid videomode specified
No go on the directx 8.1 still saying invaild videomode after changing 60 to 0
it just goes back to a full black screen if i revert the changes suggested by ziba128
now getting invalid videomode specified but progress
both .exe? I have only tried that on the main .exe
Still not starting for me I have downloaded everything at least twice, all the patches, different BF42 files from different websites, I've enabled directplay. I still get a black screen for 1-3 seconds then a small cmd window for a split second. Windows 10 home laptop.
